Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The hinge "cover" starts 16.5" from back of unit. Back of unit is designed to keep 2" clearance from wall. Hinge "cover", on my installation, is sitting 19.4" from the wall. Hinge "cover does sit lower than the "highest" part of door.
