• Thanks for checking with us. We don't recommend plugging your refrigerator into a GFCI outlet because of the risk of it tripping. The refrigerator should be plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet. A 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15 or 20 Amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required. Please review page 5 in the manual. Joyce@HaierAppliances
