Hi craign, thanks for reaching out! You are not obligated to connect your range to wifi to use the normal functions such as the burners or the oven. You can use the knobs to activate the burners and oven without being connected to wifi. We'd recommend taking a look at your Owner's Manual for instructions on how to use the knobs on your unit.
