“the freezer has frost on the perimeter of the door and on the inside also.....it is functioning properly and the door shuts tightly..please please advise....it has worked beautifully for over a year..now its frosty?”

We encourage you to disconnect the power to the refrigerator for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls. Using a warm water (not hot) and baking soda solution, we recommend cleaning the entire gasket and the area to which the gasket seals. Dry completely and rub a small amount of petroleum jelly all along the length and width of the gasket to ensure the gasket is sealing properly. If you continue to have difficulty and are confident the door wasn't left open accidentally, we recommend calling Bodewell Service at 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) to schedule a service appointment to have your refrigerator properly diagnosed and repaired.
