“In one of the reviews of this coffee maker, someone mentioned that they have to use a different type of coffee for it (coarse percolator ground). Is this different to the regular ground coffee I buy for my 12 cup drip coffee maker?”

Thank you for your question. For best results, we recommend using a coarser, percolator ground coffee. This prevents the possibility of the grounds overflowing from the basket, which can happen when finer grounds are used.
