Hi. I'm not too sure about adding oil while it's running. It's pretty powerful so keeping the "push down" utensil in is a bit essential. I mean, I know you can add food but a liquid such as an oil MIGHT be messy. I'm not 100% so my word is not end all, be all, just my thoughts. The cheese, of course, is no problem. Sorry I couldn't be for certain. Other than my unsure answer regarding the oil splash, this unit is pretty powerful & easy to clean. It's a good buy. GOOD LUCK!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does have a grater attatchment im sure you can pour oil into the feed spout thinhy while it is running. I dont know how well the oil will fall directly into bowl if you pout it in while running though. I would suggest refering to product manual or customer service help center to know the most accurate answer. I dont think I would feel safe adding oil while running though. Id love to know how it work out for you
