Is has not leaked anywhere for me yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A little. Just do not pull the pot out too fast. Pull it out some and wait a few seconds. This should be fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The pause and serve does tend to drip a couple of drops if you remove the carafe to pour you a cup. Coffee still brews, removing the carafe just engages the spring to let water flow from the filter. Pouring a cup before the pot finishes brewing is never a good idea. The closer to empty the pot is, the stronger the coffee will be, and the closer to full the carafe is when you remove it, the weaker the coffee will be. I found that if you do not seat the lid on the carafe properly, it can leak a little when pouring a cup. If you snap the lid on closest to the handle first, then the round part over the main carafe, it tends not to leak.

By removing the carafe, the flow of coffee from the bottom of the filter basket will stop. The carafe must be replaced within 20 seconds of being removed to prevent overflow. Carafe will not leak when pouring a cup of coffee.
