QuestionTurn on its own?Does this mixer bowl turn on its own or do you have to turn the bowl while the mixer is on?

- Answer No need to turn. The bowl is locked securely into the base; the beaters rotate and revolve at your choice of speed to do the mixing, beating or kneading. The mixer head also locks, to keep it down while doing heavy work like bread dough. Just unlock the mixer head and lift to scrape the bowl. (Much less scraping is needed due to the design of the bowl and beaters.) Best mixer I've ever owned, for any kind of recipe.

QuestionI have a brand new mixer but it is not spinning properly. How do I place the settings to make it spin? I tried to mix 2 loaves of bread- 5 cups of flour but it was standing still and only mixing 1 spot.

- Answer We do not recommend mixing really thick dough as it could ruin the motor. We also recommend using the dough hook attachments while mixing dough. If your specific model does not include dough hooks, we do not recommend mixing dough with that appliance.
