You need to let the waffle iron heat up. When it is ready, the light turns green.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you allow the waffle iron ready light to turn green before you start cooking your waffles? If so, you have a defective item. My waffle are crispy golden brown in less than 5 minutes. Use the waffle recipe from allreceipes.com 2 eggs, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 3/4 cups milk, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon white sugar, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt (I don't use, instead I use cinnamon), and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. I don't use the box mix anymore. Try this recipe before returning your waffle maker. Hope this helps. JB
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We don't turn ours all the way to 3 and it takes 3-5 minutes per waffle to cook. May vary depending on how well crispy you like it. If they are taking longer than that check your ingredients, try a different recipe, or there may be an issue with your unit.
