• there is some plastic such as the cup that holds the filter, but the filter is stainless steel.

• Only the filter and brewing basket are stainless steel. The inside of the unit is plastic. Hope this helps.

• The only stainless steel is outside. The two coffee filters appears to be stainless steel. The rest is black plastic. Just remember to rinse the lower filter a couple times a week. This thing works great

• The inside is mostly plastic but there is stainless steel on other parts of the coffee maker. The brewing filter measuring scoop cup IS stainless steel.
