A:AnswerNot sure if this will help but make sure your phones blue tooth is turned on and you're able to find the device on your phone. Then just add it. Sorry if this wasn't a ton of help. Hope you get it.
A:AnswerI charged mine over night (minimum 12 hours) and the same thing happens. I'm pretty sure that it has a Ni-Cad battery, not a lithium. This means that the charger should not be left plugged in at all times. Ni-Cad batteries reach a full charge, and the charging stops, but as the battery level drops a little the charger then starts charging again. I only leave mine plugged in when using, or before I know I'm going to use it so it has a full charge. I hope this helps
A:Answerthis model had an issue with overheating while plugged into AC and music being played loudly utilizing all components of the speaker. When the speaker got heated the button would flash and stop making noise for a little bit, it is prompting you to give it a break. You are lucky that forcing it to come back on multiple times didn't ruin it.
A:AnswerTurn it on and plug in the AC adapter. You will see the power LED blinking. While blinking it's charging. When it's done charging the power LED will be solid. There's no indication while it's powered off but it will still charge.
A:AnswerWe're sorry if we only have a Quick Start Guide available inside the box. The ONYX STUDIO 2's charging time is 5 hours. To turn it on while charging, just push the power button once. When the ONYX is charging with the power on, the power button will flash (1 sec interval), and would stop flashing when fully charged. Here are other LED indicators for the ONYX Studio 2:
For Power LED:
White, Constant: On/Sleep mode without Bluetooth device connected.
White, Slow Flash: Standby mode.
White, Double Quick Flash: Lower battery alert (<15%) in Operational / Standby mode.
For Bluetooth:
White, Constant: Any Bluetooth device connected.
White, Regular Flash: Bluetooth Paring Mode.
White, Quick Flash: Ringing.
Off: No Bluetooth connected.
A:AnswerThe battery of the ONYX STUDIO 2 is not user serviceable, only authorized service centers/factory technicians can replace the battery of the ONYX STUDIO 2. If you are experiencing issues with your speaker, please submit a case at www.harmankardon.com/contactus for information regarding your warranty options.
A:AnswerEvery so often companies update the firmware for the product. For instance JBL Charge 2 had distotion issues that with a firmware patch cleared it right up! Fugoo, is another, no the little fugoo is distortion free and added an outdoor mode which limits the bass and pronounces the rest of the speaker to get 2x loude then before.
A:AnswerThe only way to fix this is to reset the Bluetooth connection , and then pair your own device to it before your neighbor gets the chance to. To reset, press and hold the Bluetooth button of the ONYX STUDIO 2 for 3-5 seconds. After a reset, at this time I would recommend that you pair your own device to the ONYX STUDIO 2. From this point forward, if you want to pair the ONYX STUDIO 2 to another device, you will have to press and hold the Bluetooth button in order to put it in pairing mode. So your neighbors will not be able to pair to your ONYX STUDIO 2 anymore. Unfortunately, it cannot be renamed.
A:AnswerIf you've had awhile you might have over charged the battery. If not its a manufacturer defect. Either way contact the company and send it in, it might be under warranty.
A:AnswerPress the Bluetooth button on the Onyx FOREVER (at least 30 seconds) even after it starts blinking to pair. It will make another deep beeping sound then start deep pinging sounds and it will finally show up on your iPhone! (At least it did for me after many failed attempts.)
