A:AnswerWouldn’t use it for files - material is cloth. it will likely sag over time. Bottom of drawers is thin sheet of cardboard covered in matching cloth. Unit looks good but is better suited for storing lighter stuff (think clothes and don’t over stuff). Also there are no rails in case you’re thinking of hanging files. If you have those folders that have metal strips with hooks on each end it might work to hang on drawerss’ rods if the size is exactly right - can’t verify that. Maybe order test and return if you want to give it a shot. Does require assembly - comes in a flat box.
