Just remove everything from inside and if you want the opportunity to clean underneath before a new one is installed, be on at ready to take the 5 minutes you'll have to clean it. hope this helps

We emptied the old one, removed the ice. Kept the food in a cooler, Shut the water supply. As well as dusted the top. Have a little empathy to the ones doing the heavy lifting. we Even taped the doors of the old  closed so they would not fly open. they were in, out installed 
and gone less then 15 minutes, do your part to make it easier and less painful for all.

Ensure you have all stuffs out of the fridge. If you have ice maker you should turn off the ice maker and close the water valve on the back of the fridge a night before it. They will replace the new one and haul away less then 30 mins.

Defrost and dry it out it so it won't drip or stink in their truck. Try to remove all food traces too, both for freezer & fridge.

The delivery service point blank would not take my old fridge without cleaning it for hours even though it died after all food and water was out.
