Also, the unit display will show when it's charging. It doesn't matter if the computer recognizes it or not, the charge function is strictly electrical.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Its okay that the computer doent recognize it, it wasn't designed to communicate to the computer its not an Ipod. It will still charge, it just uses the usb port for power for some silly reason.
