• Definitely - that is the intent and beauty of HDHomeRun Network Technology. You can add, mix-match, our different tuner models to increase your tuner count, allowing you to View or Record (using HDHomeRun DVR) more programs simultaneously. Cable and OTA / Multiple OTA / or as you suggest - CONNECT + EXTEND giving you 4 tuner and two of them allowing for Transcode features. Enjoy the freedom and flexibility of HDHomeRun

• You can it and create a pool of 4 tuners. However, the connect doesn’t transcode (have the ability to change picture resolution). If using a PC to view or record the connect will work. For devices requiring a lower resolution the connect won’t work.

• I had a similar set up years ago and the number of tuners determined how many windows you could open to have simultaneous broadcasts. It should work.
