“I am trying to decide on an OTA DVR to use. I have purchased an antenna & have installed it but have not cut the cord with Dish yet. I record a lot of things & want to be able to continue. Will this work or would I also have to purchase something else”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you will additional software that HomeRun provides and pay for its features such as recording and monthly subscription to their guide. I use it with my PLEX Server which comes with a free program guide and DVR functions. The recordings are editable which is a nice feature. Another alternative is to buy TIVO Romio OTA only. A bit more money but comes with lifetime subscription for the guide, no additional money. Additional TiVo mini for other rooms with TV's. I have both now and they each serve their purpose. The HomeRun is a must have if you have a PLEX Server!
