“Can this connect to the internet without using cables? I am looking to use it in my bedroom and want to connect to my network wirelessly as I don’t watch cable I only stream Netflix, Hulu and You Tube. Also, can you browse the web from it?”

No you do not need to have a cable connected to the television for internet as the television has WiFi built in. Yes you are able to browser the web on this television however you would need to download a browser from the Roku app store.
