Roku is the name of a company that aims to make content streaming easier for consumers. They named their product after the company. Roku is like having Apple TV, but much cheaper. Roku teamed with Hisense to make this tv where their software is built into the tv. So now, instead of having to plug something into the tv to watch Netflix, Hulu, SlingTv or any streaming service like that, all you need is the tv. It makes your experience better by only needing the tv and an internet connection to stream media content. It also allows you to connect your cable or satellite tv, gaming system and other peripherals.
