Roku has a simple grid-based home screen with app icons. No personalized recommendations on the main screen. Google TV has a content-first interface with personalized recommendations from multiple apps. Hisense offers both Roku TV and Google TV. If you prefer a simple user interface with broad app support and no ties to Android or Apple, we recommend Roku. If you prefer a deep Google integration, personalized recommendations, and Chromecast, please choose a Google TV.
