This type cable is good for non 4K content (i.e, 1080p blue ray and cable box hdmi outputs) this would need to be plugged into the HDMI 1 or 2 on the back. However, if you have a 4k Blue Ray player you need a HDMI cable 2.2 to plug into either the HDMI 3 or 4 slot.
