Hi Hisense Customer, Thank you for your interest in the Hisense AHD5024KP1G. The unit will not power off completely. The fan and compressor will shut off once the desired humidity is reached; however, they will turn on once the unit detects that the humidity begins to rise. Once the unit is powered off and then on, you would be required to adjust the settings.
