Q: Questiondoes AHD50224KPP1G have automatic shut off and on when desired humidity is reached, and if power is turned off will the unit return to my settings automatically?

The fan and compressor will shut off once the desired humidity is reached; however, they will turn on once the unit detects that the humidity begins to rise. Once the unit is powered off and then on, you would be required to adjust the settings.
