It does not have it pre-installed, nor is it an option for download through the Android TV app section of the tv. However, if you install the File Manger app and download the Amazon Prime Video apk install file onto a thumbdrive, it will install just fine. Yes, I just finished installing it myself and it works great. You will have to give the File Manager permission to install 3rd party apps for it to work though. Not an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just purchased a 55 inch hisense h9f tv (date 11/19). the prime video app is not available in the play store on this TV. I called hisense customer service and they confirmed this tv does not support the amazon prime video app. If you want to view prime video on this tv you will have to use an external streaming source such as chromecast from your phone or tablet; or roku device. TheTV does have chromecast built in. there is nothing on the hisense site or any reviews that mentions this. if i had known this, i would have purchased a different tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This television does not include an Amazon video application.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My hisence plays prime video fine. If it has roku it will play prime, netflex basically and streaming service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends what TV model. I have Hisense Q9 65" and installed Amazon Prime through Google app store no problem. Month later bought Hisense Q7 series 55" ( cheaper version of Q series), and Amazon is not available in Google app store for this TV. They are both Android TVs and both run on same version. I was really surprised by this. Must be some licensing issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it does not. It seems to be not the fault of Hisense here. It seems Andriod TV OS in all brands dont have it. Google and Amazon dont seem to be intrested in getting along well enough to make an Android TV compatable app. Probably because Amazon would like to sell more FireTV boxes. There is a way to side load the full android version of Amazon video you can find if you google it. I have not yet tried to install it this way myself yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here is how you get it https://youtu.be/OIvZcWZSljY
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it does not. It is android. You would need a ROKU, or Fire TV attached to it. This is a great TV in terms of brightness and IMAGE. I am not sure of the Nits, but it is very bright, and blacks are blacks. However, you will dislike this TV if you ever need to access the android part of it, or try to change inputs, but most importantly, you will never be able to have the a good lipsync. I spoke to Hisense and they just cannot fix it, so if you need to use bluetooth speakers or headphones, just skip this TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Download the Prime Video app from the Playstore. Keep in mind that this is an Android TV. So, the question to ask is, is there and Android app for what you want. Some apps available on an Android mobile device may not be available on an Android TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Can anyone confirm you can actually download the Amazon Video app and run it on this TV?
