“Has anyone successfully connected to sound bar via optical cable? I have tried, can see the Red light, but can’t send sound through the sound bar . Eve with TV speaker off, the only option I can choose under Audio Output is TV Speaker.”

Hello Mac, Thank you for your interest in the 55H9G. After connecting your sound bar vis optical cable go to the Settings / Menu > Sound > Advanced Settings > Digital Audio Out to select Dolby Digital to receive the Dolby Digital audio.
