its not that the monitor/tv doesn't stream HDR it is the content provider. if the movie is not available in 4K HDR, than it will not play that format. however if it is, than it will. I watched the new Bourne movie via Amazon Prime app in 4K HDR. was insane looking.

But research and limited experimentation on my part supports that HDR is only available on HDMI ports 3 & 4. Not really sure how to test the built-in apps...
