“If this TV will not stream HDR from the built in TV apps and only the HDMI ports then how the stores display model displaying in HDR?? Cause they are not using a secondary device through a HDMI port. I'm confused by that. What am I missing?”

its not that the monitor/tv doesn't stream HDR it is the content provider. if the movie is not available in 4K HDR, than it will not play that format. however if it is, than it will. I watched the new Bourne movie via Amazon Prime app in 4K HDR. was insane looking.

But research and limited experimentation on my part supports that HDR is only available on HDMI ports 3 & 4. Not really sure how to test the built-in apps...
