Hi Hisense Customer, Thank you for your interest in the Hisense 55U8K. The 55U8N is a continuation of last year’s model 55U8K. The 55U8N has a 3000-nit peak brightness, whereas the 55U8K has a 1500-nit peak brightness. Another difference is that the U8N has 1000 local dimming zones and the U8K has 672 local dimming zones.
