My first answer above might be a little confusing. All the features seem to be the same for the H9G and the H8G except for these primary differences: Up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness for HDR on the H9G (up to 700 nits on the H8G). Full-array LED backlighting with up to 180 local dimming zones on the H9G (up to 90 local dimming zones on the H8G). In-bezel microphones and far-field voice control on the H9G (Voice remote-control on the H8G). Motion Rate of 480 for smooth fast motion control on the H9G with 120Hz refresh rate (motion rate of 240 on the H8G).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the H8G. The H9G has more dimming zones and a 120Hz refresh rate vs. the H8G's 60Hz refresh rate. Otherwise, there isn't much of a difference.
