“I have an old Bose 321 sound system without an HDMI port will I be able to connect it to the Hisense H9G?”

There's an optical audio out port on the TV. Lighting fried the HDMI inputs on my Sony AV receiver last year. Fortunately I can still use an optical audio cable to enjoy surround sound. Check your Bose to see if it has an optical audio in port. I'm guessing it does.

Yes, you can use the toslink (optical audio) port.
