The 65U7N has a peak brightness of 1500 nits and 384 local dimming zones. The 65U8N has a peak brightness of 3000 nits and 1600 local dimming zones. Please try again later.I also have a U8 85inch model in my family room and i can tell you the sound is louder and the screen is brighter with better reflection minimizing capabilities. You can also customize your TV experience better, but i can tell you unless you compare them side by side you won't notice any difference and you'll be happy with either model. If your room is lowly lit and smaller in size the U6 won't disappoint you and your wallet will thank you.
