The Hisense U7 is slightly better than the Hisense U6. The U7 delivers slightly better picture quality, with a better local dimming feature and slightly better contrast. The U7 also gets brighter, so it can handle a bit more glare if you're in a bright room. I myself have had no issues with owning the U6. Probably wouldn't notice the difference unless they were side-by-side.
