How bright is the TV? Can it handle HDR well? null

The Hisense 75H8E does not get very bright when playing HDR content. HD Guru measured around 300 nits peak luminance.

Unfortunately NO ONE including Hisense seems to able to answer this? I will say the HDR looked very nice to me off Direct Tv $k but I thought the Dolby Vision stuff I watched was very dark/dim and the menu options to adjust that are quite limited.
