The Hisense 85QD7N 85-inch TV features a VA (Vertical Alignment) panel, which offers superior contrast and exceptional picture quality, especially for movies.  However, there is some conflicting information regarding the panel type. While Best Buy’s official response confirms it as a VA panel, other sources, such as RTINGS.com, mention that the QD7N series uses an IPS panel. This discrepancy might be due to variations in panel types across different sizes or regions.
