It’s not recommended to place a 40-inch TV with a stand on it because: 1. Intended Use: This is a floating stand meant to be mounted on a wall, and it does not have supporting legs for floor use. 2. Weight Capacity: The stand can only hold up to 15 lbs (about 6.8 kg) on its surface, while a 40-inch TV with a stand usually weighs 25–40 lbs (11–18 kg). 3. Stability: The slim floating design isn't made for standalone floor stability, so there is a risk of tipping over.
