They told me I would have to sign when delivered. I didn't sign anything. I think they forgot no big deal.

I put on delivery instructions for signature, giving the buzz code for me to ring in, and bring up to my apt door for signature. It was FEDEX, never buzzed, left in outside vestibule, and by the time I got email of delivery was hrs later, and IT WAS GONE OF COURSE ! File complaint w fedex, showed photo of them leaving it outside of locked entrance for anyone to take and after No real investigation told me too bad. It was $400. Luckily I am w Amex, 30 yrs, never been late or made a claim, they refunded the charge back to me or I would be sunk. For expensive items left outside, is just a theft waiting to happen.

Please try again later.Customers need to give up their contact information to Ontrac for real time delivery information, if this carrier is used by Best Buy for your order. Note there was a data breach in April 2025. Apparently, the Ontrac site and the original order receipt on Best Buy should state if a signature is required. Nothing is ever easy these days.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't need to sign off, but for big item deliveries like appliances and TVs, yes, someone has to be home to accept the delivery. Preferably an adult, too. You can always ask and reschedule if needed.
