• I've seen a video of the Home being used in England. If you're OK with American English, it should work.

• A friend who was visiting me in the US from The Netherlands bought a Google Home to take back with him. He says it works, but much of the content (music, radio stations, etc.) is limited since it's not licensed to be played outside the US. That said, I would assume it will work in a similar fashion in Germany. One thing to note, using it in another country will require an adapter to fit the electrical outlets in that country, but a power converter is not necessary as the internal power supply in the Google Home is variable voltage (it will work on either 110 or 220v).
