• Lori, to simply answer your question, yes. To my knowledge this gadget is not country based, at least it shouldn't be. You can buy wherever & take it back home & you will have the same set up process as you would in the U.S. remember, all you need is a Google account, & Wi-Fi. Enjoy!

• Yes. Google Home should not be region-specific. As long as you update the location on your phone when you change countries physically, your Google Home should detect the change and update its app functionality.
