I have a Netgear 802.11n and it works fine. I use the 5G band and it does not use much bandwidth at all.

you just hook it up to your home wifi. so you can use whatever router you like.

Google home connects to your WiFi signal ( Xfinity - AT&T, etc ) I have my Google Home connected to my Xfinity router and its working great.

No specific Wifi system is needed. Any wifi network will work. You need to set the home up via the Google Home app.

I have AT&T I'm sure it will work with any Internet carrier
