It is free to hook up. Get a Smart Bridge Hub to help run tv and thermostat. Then you can also get a couple of smart plugins to control other devices
Sorry, there was a problem. Accessories for the speaker cover are the only accessories I know about right now. No cost for activation although there is a cost for streaming music services such as Pandora, Spotify, or Youtube Red. All optional. You can use the free accounts with it you just won't be able to play music you prefer to listen to on command. It will answer most questions. If it can't it will respond with statement such as "I don't know how to answer that yet." (which I'm confident it may be able to answer in the future as the product updates to new features) As of now it will detect anyones voice commands where as that is another area where the product can improve throughout the settings options. (maybe only detecting your voice) You can install the product yourself . The product almost installs itself. Just plug and play. :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's basically google search/assistant for your home. Whatever you would google is what you would voice command on the device. No cost for activation. It will try to answer all of your questions but adapting to a new way of searching through voice command will take a bit of practice as it will not feel as natural as typing. It will respond to anyone's voice. Plug it in your outlet, download the Google Home app and you're good to go. No need to call anyone for install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No installation required - plug and play! Yes it responds well to audio questions and retrieves info from internet very rapidly. At present the accessories that are integrated is limited, but expected to expand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a very simple set up, just connect it to your wifi and you're good to go. Answers most questions and when it can't it'll bring the question up in a search engine on your phone. It will respond to all voice commands that begin with 'OK Google'. The music streaming out of box is via Youtube Red, you get a six month subscription for free but after that it is a pay subscription. There are no activation fees and installation is simple and can be done by anyone that knows how to connect to a wireless network. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My suggestion is to read the product description then go into your local Best Buy for help. The list of capabilities is ludicrously long.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Aside from being a speaker, Google home can answer almost anything that you ask. You can set an alarm, timer and play any music available through youtube, Spotify and Pandora (amongst others). With aditional hardware, home can turn on/off your lights and even start your sprinklers. All with simple voice commands. I have a couple of "chromecast" and it even turns my TV on and plays whatever movie that I want on my TV (netflix). Google home can even do simple math for you. Cool little gadget and even a useful tool with additional hardware (home automation, sprinkler timer, chromecast). My three year old loves it and uses it on a daily basis.
