I have 3 Google Home devices and a chromecast audio connected to a powered speaker. Everything plays just fine sending the audio to one two three or four speakers in any combination, The only problem I have found is it does not support casting podcasts to multiple speakers yet. The way I've found around that is to play the podcast on my android phone with the Pocketcast app and from within that app I can cast to whatever configuration I have for the speakers so that works fine that way. When I tell a Google Home to play a certain podcast to all speakers it says "sorry I can';t do that yet" so I would think it would be enabled in a future update. With just music you can tell Google Home to play whatever genre of music you want from Youtube, Pandora or Google music and it works just fine, Google Home also supports broadcasting from Spotify but only the subscription service, not the free service and I don't have a Spotify subscription so I haven't been able to try that but I would expect it would work as well as the other three..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one Chromecast Audio hooked up via the analog out to go along with the Google Home, and whenever I'm transitioning between parts of my home it sounds like they are perfectly in sync.
