• Works the same as the Home. I listen to music on the mini in a single room and it sounds pretty good.

• Sound quality is MUCH better , and it will but you have to have the Google TV thingy to control your tv

• The regular Home and Home mini are very similar. The regular has a better speaker and more touch controls (for now, they're fixing it on the Mini). I have a Logitech Harmony Hub and can control my whole entertainment center by linking my Home with my Harmony account. If you have a Chromecast and HDMI CEC enabled on your TV I think you can use your voice to turn on the TV and start a video.
