• Android TV devices generally act like chromecast receivers, so yes you should be able to ask the speaker to show you kitten youtube videos on your NVIDIA SHIELD.

• yes it will work with shield or any android device except amazon fire tv /stick, unless u install the framework and google cast on it which isnt that hard to do.
