“will it play any music i ask without charge”

• It depends. Some music "stations" require a subscription, however I have yet to have the Home not locate a free station to play the music I want. I listen to all kinds of music so it is pretty impressive that I have not had to subscribe to a service for this! Way to go, Google!

• It depends, you can link a spotify account, you tube music and sirius xm. By default it will play free you tube music and other channels. The free ones like Pandora will play music channels and not specific songs. The linked accounts will play anything you ask it if they are premium.
