QuestionThe user manual states 'DO NOT USE DISTILLED water in this humidifer', can please share why? Most others humidifiers usually prefer distilled or purified only. Will using distilled/purified water ruin the device?

- Answer Have you found anybody to answer your question? I just opened my product and the manual states the same it says do not use distilled water in this portable humidifier. I am also unsure why and would like to know why. Did you end up using tap or distilled?

- Answer No, it does not. However, The mist nozzle must be cleaned to remove water mineral deposits. Failure to do so may cause reduced or no mist output.

- Answer The product can be used with a USB cable or on its own using the rechargeable battery. This will not plug into a 12 volt car receptacle.

QuestionWhen unplugged and running on battery for 2 hours, does it automatically shut off after the 2 hours, or does it continue using the battery for an additional 10 hours to complete the 12 hour total run time?

- Answer In my experience it doesn't last long on the battery - so I recommend keeping the charging cable connected during extended periods of use

- Answer Never add essential oils or any other additives to the water tank. Even a few drops will damage the unit.
