Does it leave area it is set wet null

No it shouldn't, mine does not. But the only thing I did was put a little towel underneath to stop it from moving, the little vibration is strong enough that it was slowly moving across the table and it almost fell off, so I put a dish towel underneath*! Solved that. I love it, its perfect in my kid's room* =)

It does leave the area were is set with a wet mark under it.
