If we want it to be 72, we set it to 72. When it reaches 72 it shuts off and does not turns back on until the temperature drops below 72.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When it’s on high it automatically just gets hot idk by how many degrees but if you put the amount of degrees it’ll go to that on that setting. The high and low are different constant settings and won’t shut off.

So, if you set the thermostat to 75 on high, and it reaches that, it may automatically switch itself to a lower temperature because it has reached the temperature for which you set it. However, if you set the temperature to 75 and you set it on low, it will obviously take longer to reach it, so it will stay on low longer than if you set it to 75 on high. I’m not sure if this answers your question.
