no because it has auto shutt off in case it tips over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The manual warns that the heater should not be used "with an extension cord or power strip." Extension cords can cause overheating based on the amperage rating and length of the extension cord. I suggest having a licensed electrician run power from the house to the camper via a line that can be connected or disconnected when required.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your inquiry. This unit needs to be plugged into a circuit that can provide 1500 watts and 12.5 amps reliably. If your electrical system in the camper cannot provide at least that amount of power, this heater will not function correctly. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact our consumer relations team by emailing us at [email protected]. Thank you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is all about the amount of watts and amps being output in correspondence to the gauge extension cord. It can cause a fire risk.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well the box does say "not" to connect it to a extension cord or to a power surge. It recommends for you to plug it into a "direct landline" into the wall. So yes the product can overheat and may cause a fire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t believe it’s a problem that is how we use it.
