You have to cut the charcoal filter to fit.

HRF-ARVP contains an uncut bulk roll of A-type pre-filter and 2x R-type HEPA filters. 300 series purifiers use 3x R/HEPA with each change. No where on the retail HRF-ARVP box, that I was shown in a BB brick&motar, is there any mention of 300 series. No where does it say you can cut 2x HRF-AP1/pre-filter from the bulk roll. BB still doesn't sell (Mar2021) HRF-AP1 & HRF-APP1 pre-filters. Nor does BB sell HRF-R3 (3x R/HEPA) filter kits for 300 series. Searches for those parts on BB.com point to other stuff. All can be purchased from honeywellstore.com. That's where I get mine. No stink on any of them, too. Hope this helps...
