Manufacturer recommends to change the pre-filter every three months and the main filters once a year. I live out in the country where there is a lot of dust around my home. I went seven months with both the main filters and the pre filter. One thing I was doing was blowing out with forced air the pre-filter every time the pre-filter warning light turned on. Don’t blow out the main filters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm a smoker but it lasted 3-4 mos. of constant use.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had mine for six months now and just bought Replacement. The charcoal pre filter takes the brunt of the dust. I took them out side and blew them out with a air hose once but it defeats the purpose of odor removal. The cartridge filter looks like new. Life depends on dust load

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on how frequently you turn on your unit. Mine is always on with the automatic sensors. I changed the two filters on the first week of September. As of today (almost three months later), with an always on setting, the charcoal filter is at 60% of its life and the HEPA is at 90% of it life.
