Thank you for your inquiry. Your HEV615 has a relative humidistat, as denoted by the water drop symbol. Run the unit at the highest setting for at least an hour. Once the humidity in the room feels comfortable, slowly turn the humidistat down until the Humidity Reached light turns on. This will set the humidistat to allow the unit to maintain the current humidity in the room. The HEV620 comes with a digital humidistat.
