“Is it possible to turn the Ionizer / Ozone off on this machine? Or is that what makes it effective in the first place? I'd prefer not to have ozone in my home. OR, should I purchase a different machine? Suggestions?”

Thank you for your inquiry. This unit uses an ifD field to generate ions to adhere to particles in the air and attract them to the filter plate. It would be impossible to turn off the ionization, as that is how the unit cleans the air. We would advise looking into HEPA air purifiers, such as the Power Plus and InSight Series air purifiers, rather than our AirGenius Series. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi! I looked at the owner's manual/pamphlet. The ionizing feature is integral to the filtration function. It can't be turned off, or by-passed. Page #11 of the pamphlet says that the ozone given off by the machine is below U.S. and Canadian environmental regulatory limits. Dust and pollen always irritate my sinuses.. I've had my air purifier running in my living room for a couple weeks now. My sinuses are now clear and free of irritation. Thanks!
